Open-Top Gutters Upgraded to Gutter Shutter in Willmar, MN

The seamed open-style gutter system around Stan's home in Willmar, MN was aging rather poorly and was probably not installed very well to begin with. Once Stan found our booth at the Willmar Spring Expo Home Show, he was determined to get a new system that could better protect his home. Two main pieces needing replacement covered the front door and backside deck. The front piece, as shown in the photo, was especially important for protecting the patio cement from receiving too much water. With our high-volume Gutter Shutter system, Stan wouldn't have to worry about that water any longer.

The 43-foot seamless gutter section along the front of the home would much more effectively manage the roof's water and shed every leaf while doing it. All of the water would be sent to the side of the home to drain well away from the home's foundation. Most importantly, our gutter would extend further across the fascia board to catch the high-speed water from the roof valley, which the old gutter was not properly aligned to manage.

Gutter Shutter Project in Pequot Lakes, MN

This project reached our office through a contractor needing to add new sections of gutters to a house. Rather than sticking with the old seamless hooded system, they went with Gutter Shutter to take on the new areas, especially drainage off the deck.

Our expert salesman, Kevin Feldewerd, identified how to best install the system for the area. Due to nearby pine trees, the solid hood design was selected. To properly mount the gutter on the stone wall, a 2x6 cedar board was secured into the stone. This enabled the patented Gutter Shutter Brackets to be properly installed, attached the gutter with our sag-free guarantee.

Gutter Shutter Project in Battle Lake, MN

This customer reached out to our office to find a replacement for their existing open-style system that was not keeping up with the water speed coming off the metal roof. As seen in the picture, the overshooting led to discoloration and debris adhering to the face of the white gutter.

After meeting with our salesman Kevin Feldewerd, the homeowner was convinced that Gutter Shutter would be an excellent replacement. Part of our installation offer is to cut back metal roofs to ensure the water runs directly into our gutters, which was desperately needed for the previous open-style system.

Along with cutting back the metal, we installed the Gutter Shutter perforated hood to ensure the water is effectively captured coming off the metal roof. We also added our wide mouth outlets to the existing downspouts to maximize water flow out of the gutter. This customer can now look forward to a clog-free system and no more water shooting over the gutters!

New Rain Chutes!

This customer is having issues with the downspouts getting ran over when the lawn is mowed or they are moved and not put back, causing water to be too close to the foundation.

Gutter Shutter provided a great solution, Rain Chutes!  These are a great alternative to downspout through the grass. A Rain Chute is dug down into the ground to be flush with the grass so you can mow right over them.
