Homeowner reached out to us about a home in Cokato Minnesota. This particular home is suffering from water issues in the basement. With lots of heavy rains this year these gutters were put to the test. With some Small hole screens on the gutter, we can see that they were not doing their job, this is causing the gutters to overrun, not taking in all the water that they should be and causing a lot of debris build up so that the gutters are not working properly. The solution is to get a good gutter cleaning and then to evaluate the Gutter Protection. Moving forward a different style would be recommended.  

A local contractor working on a home in Clearwater was looking for a replacement plan of a seamless gutter system around the house. Our office was contacted to provide a quote for all 177 feet of roofline. Normally, a salesman would drive out to the location to draw up a precise proposal, but this contractor was ready with all the measurements and information needed. Jason Borresch, our owner, was able to get a proposal created in the office and passed it over to the contractor. 

The gutter replacement plan was relatively straightforward, as we'd just remove the old gutters and mount the new ones. The 177 feet of gutter needed would be spread across 14 separate pieces of gutter. Most of these would be connected around roof corners by inside and outside miters, creating a 90 degree sealed seam that allows for effective water flow. Several downspouts were undamaged and would be re-attached to the new gutters, but two were planned for new installation. One would tie into a ground pipe and the other would be equipped with our made-to-order tip-up extensions, making it very easy to move when needed.

Kevin offered our premium Gutter Shutter system, utilizing our solid-hood design due to the very close proximity of trees to the house. Kevin also proposed installing tip-up downspout extensions to allow for easier movement of the extensions, as all the downspouts would inconvenience lawn maintenance.
