Gutter Installations & Replacements In Sauk Rapids, MN

Deb's seamed vinyl gutters in Sauk Rapids were deteriorating and she was tired of having to clean them out. One of the seams for a downspout was entirely disconnected, leaving a noticeable opening. Other downspout components were broken or completely missing. After seeing one of our local advertisements, she reached out to our office and got an appointment set up for her free estimate. 

Kevin Feldewerd, our salesman for the area, was able to visit the next day. He drew up two quotes for Deb: one to replace each gutter and cover the whole house in Gutter Shutter, and one to only replace the bad long run on the front of the home.

Included in each quote were our wide mouth outlets and tip up extension. Our outlets allow for twice as much water to drain from the gutter than traditional downspout outlets, and the tip up extension would allow for easy movement of the piece off the ground when needed. With either selection, Deb is getting a needed upgrade to the breaking vinyl system!

Sara in Sauk Rapids was looking for an upgrade to her home's open-style gutters. She reached out to our office to see what we had to offer, as Gutter Shutter was an unfamiliar product but she wanted to support a local company. Kevin Feldewerd, our St. Cloud area salesman, was able to stop by a few days later to show her the product and draw up a proposal.

Kevin measured out six pieces of gutter that would fully cover each roofline and determined the existing downspouts to be in good enough condition to reuse. Even with great downspouts, we always include our wide mouth outlet which will drain twice as much water as a normal downspout connection. Sara also chose to go with the solid-hood cover all around, but Kevin found a few key points where the high-volume (HV) perforated hood should be used. The intersecting valley of perpendicular roof sections are generally lined with metal, bringing a lot of water to a high speed towards the gutter. Our HV hood is exclusively designed to handle fast-moving water like no other.

Rochelle's Sauk Rapids home had a few plastic gutters around it that were just not getting the job done. The step-fascia around the home was not properly accounted for with the plastic gutter brackets, leading to low points away from the downspouts. Rochelle reached out for her free estimate to see what we could offer.

Kevin Feldewerd, our St. Cloud salesman, went out to create a proposal and see how we could best meet her needs. He planned to cover all 4 sides of the home with a fully interconnected Gutter Shutter system. Three downspouts would be strategically placed to even out the water flow from all 152 feet of gutter, each with a tip-up downspout extension to make it very easy to move when needed.

Kevin also planned to account for the step-fascia by having our install crew put up 3/4" J-channel around the whole house. J-channel is a bent piece of aluminum that provides a flat backing for the gutter to rest against for any non-flat fascia style. This ensures complete stability and an even flow for the gutter as it is mounted.
